ORIGIN

Paithani Handloom sarees are made in Maharashtra. Paithani saree has its origins in antiquity, hailing from the royal dynasties of the medieval town of Paithan near Aurangabad.

ORNAMENTATION:

Zari work is known for the art of weaving threads in golden and silver colours. It involves the process of twisting a flattened metallic strip, which sometimes is made from pure gold and silver.
